As part the technical leads group of Digital Tech, your mission is to guide the team in building high quality technical solutions and have fun while doing it! You will bring your ideas to life in a buzzing environment of highly engaged, multinational agile teams, who at their core build game-changing software products by using top-notch technology. What You Can Expect

• Work on the coolest set of ideas shaped around Digital Consumer Engagement & Membership/ Loyalty domain
• Lead solution design by making architectural decisions and recording them: architecture style, characteristics (aka NFRs), design patterns, and trade-offs etc.
• Lead creation of architecture artefacts (dependencies, constraints, system interfaces catalogue, deployment design etc.) that will enable implementation team to develop required components. Guide and advise engineering team in low-level design
• Own the Data Architecture: Support Data Mesh strategy by designing mature data products, high quality real-time data supply chains with standardized logical data model concepts,
• Be the gatekeeper of well-architected framework elements in system and public cloud workload designs: Reliable, Performant, Secure, Cost-optimized, Operationally excellent
• Create PoCs to showcase characteristics and main functionality of solutions to manage stakeholders and get buy-in
• Manage capabilities portfolio of your product (maturity, technology, people and processes),
• Drive relationship within solution/domain/enterprise architecture community, execute and participate in JADs (Joint Architecture Discussion),
• Support business architecture and be advisor to Tech lead/Product leadership in driving organizational change and future technology direction in the product
  

What We Are Looking For

• Desired knowledge in global scale membership, loyalty, or CRM programs
• Deep understanding of Domain Driven Design, Event Driven Architecture, and API design
• Deep understanding of data/backend application concepts including inter-process communication frameworks around messaging (mainly Kafka) and sync/async REST APIs
• Experience with distributed systems (ideally Microservices) and distributed data models
• Experience with managing public cloud workloads and serverless paradigm (AWS preferred)
• Experience in solution design with best practices and Well-Architected frameworks
• Experience with working and leading engineering teams in Agile delivery environment
• Motivation to never stop learning in the ever-changing Digital Tech space
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English
• College or university degree with focus on IT or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience in designing, prototyping, and implementing end-to-end technical solutions with ~3 years of xp in one of these areas: MarTech, Consumer Engagement/CX, eCom

We design & own a fleet of microservices developed in Java, Nodejs, Salesforce; leveraging various AWS, Azure and GCP data-services (SQL, NoSQL); architected around Kafka Event-driven technology with Data-mesh principles and relevant frameworks (Hadoop, ETL, MapReduce). When needed, we leverage SaaS technologies and develop our rich technology stack to create best data driven solutions. We have best-in-class enterprise level deployment pipelines where CI/CD automation, Docker containerization, K8 orchestration are first class citizens. All in all, goal is to serve the ultimate digital experience at scale to millions of adidas members that interact with our brands every day globally! So, if data and anything related to that is interesting to you; we definitely need to talk! It is ok if some of the technologies listed above are new to you. We care about your relevant background in data technologies and eagerness to learn. We are happy to teach you and learn from you!
