In your new role you will work within the QA Shared Services Manufacturing Transfer Team and will be responsible for quality related activities as it applies to Manufacturing Transfer.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • As Senior Quality Engineer (m/f/d) you support all transfers globally. You are the point of contact for quality for manufacturing transfers at scoping, planning and execution phases.
  • You enable the completion of manufacturing transfer to achieve its quality, cost and time requirements.
  • You are also entrusted with reviewing and approving of validation/qualification documentation as well as providing interpretation and guidance on regulations, corporate and site local procedures as they relate to quality activities such as FMEA, MSA’s, validations and qualifications.
  • You act as Technical Quality Expert that sets quality strategies by utilizing a risk based approach around FAI’s, Inspection Certification, leveraging etc.
  • Furthermore, you drive continuous optimization of manufacturing transfer process and provide feedback to lessons learned for each completed manufacturing transfer.
  • Your office can be in Freiburg im Breisgau/Germany or Kiel/Germany. It would also be possible to work 80% from home.
What are we looking for?
  • You have successfully completed a Bachelor or Master of Engineering or any related discipline.
  • You have 2+ years of relevant professional experience in validation and quality, ideally in the medical device, pharmaceutical or other regulated industries.
  • You have a good understanding of engineering and machine tool fundamentals as well as a strong knowledge of quality concepts and risk based techniques (e.g. FMEA, Risk, Statistics).
  • Furthermore, you are a self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem solving skills and you have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • You have the willingness for regular international travel (~ 40 %).
  • Your profile is completed by excellent communication skills in German and English.
