Senior Program Manager (f/m/x)

Join our team in Bonn for a full-time, permanent position starting as soon as possible

As a Senior Program Manager (f/m/x), you will support the Head of Program Management in continuously improving and developing the processes & tools, drive the financial planning & Controlling processes, prepare updates for DHL Senior Management as well as the end-to-end contract management with external parties. Together with you we enable the successful delivery and steering of SHAPE+.

Your tasks

• Own thefinancial planning processes, across multiple business case categories and suppliers, assure continuous alignment with key stakeholders and management, as well as Controlling with full understanding of root-causes for deviations and initiation of actions
• Own contracting process for external program suppliers in close alignment with Procurement and Legal teams, assurance of budget compliance for new orders
• Build up and manage scope approval & budgeting process for Continuous Improvement activities of our global platform, aligning with central workstreams and Divisional teams
• Own successful execution of main processes driven or supported by PMO team – access management, performance management – and assure efficient and lean processes, continuous process improvement and professional execution by team
• Assure full alignment of all stakeholders of deployment wave planning, maintaining changes and full availability of master data on entities in planning file
• Drive independent and professional preparation of meeting documents (e.g. Steering Committee, internal program decision meetings, department team meetings, etc.)

Your profile

• University Degree in e.g. Accounting/Finance/Economics/ Business Administration or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 year work experience in the area of PMO, Controlling, Finance System Transformation
• Sound organizational and project management skills with advanced knowledge in agile and waterfall project management standards (g. PMI, PRINCE2, SCRUM, SAP Activate)
• Experience in defining structures and set up of projects or initiatives
• Experience in Program Management Office (PMO), Lean Management (g. Six Sigma or DHL FirstChoice certification) or quality assurance
• Ability to influence others and to build storylines and vision
• Experience in SAP deployment or IT transformation projects is beneficial
• Strong willingness to approach projects with a can-do attitude, pragmatism, and persistence, comfortable in a fast-moving, fluid, international environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft O365 Suite incl. Sharepoint and MS Teams
• Experience in the usage of project management software (g. MS Project, Jira, Confluence)
• Superior English and German skills (written and spoken) required

Finance Systems Transformation is responsible for running SHAPE+, a DHL Group cross-divisional Finance transformation program. SHAPE+ aims at driving standardization and automation of core Accounting and Cost Accounting processes across Business Units and its consolidation into ONE SAP S/4HANA Finance ERP platform. This will streamline our Finance set-up and is the basis for the continuous transformation and digitalization of the DHL Finance organization. After a successful go-live of the first Pilot entities in summer 223 we are now moving into the rollout phase.

Within the SHAPE+ organization, the Program, Deployment & Change Management team is responsible for the central program management of the transformation program, the overall deployment management of the platform, the definition and governance of the project methodology, training, and enablement of the teams as well as the overall change management and communication.
