Position Overview
Heading the Inventory Management team for the Spare Parts Hub EMEA and APAC. Objective is planning and controlling the spare part inventory, considering an agreed level of material availability. Managing spare parts through their life cycle and making best decisions around new-buy, repair and relocation to establish proper stock levels. Cooperating with supplier and repair-Management teams on the supply side, and with field service, operations and sales teams on the demand side. Generate plan and forecasting of inventory.
Your are responsible for
· Technical and disciplinary management and enhancement of the team
· Technical direction and development of methods, programs and processes in the team
· Ensuring spare part availability considering inventory targets and cash flow optimization
· Inventory plan and forecast
· Level of escalation
Qualifications
· Universal or college of higher education degree with material management or mathematical subject, alternative a completed 3-year apprenticeship in this subject and in-depth knowledge in after sales B2B business, typically minimum of 3 years’ experience in the IT or automotive industry
· Multiple years of experience in the field of Logistic and material planning
· Experienced in leam leading
· SAP R3 knowledge
Preferred Qualification
· Experience in spare part management in mission critical business sector, with responsive supply chains and short reaction times
