For our Unit Global Finance we are now looking for a (Senior) IT Business Analyst (d/f/m) as early as possible at our location in Cologne.

Role Description

  • Perform business analysis functions to identify the requirements business users and provide end to end support to translate these requirements into IT solutions
  • Act as a liaison to our Finance teams to ensure the timely delivery projects
  • Maintain accounting subledgers in technical systems/ensure integrity with GL
  • Design and support highly effective processes to support closing activities
  • Support the finance teams by answering questions about the financial systems, assist fixing system issues
  • Improve processes and efficiencies through financial systems and reporting for the finance teams
  • Track data issues and satisfy ad hoc analysis requests

Role Qualifications and Experience

  • Knowledge of Finance subledgers systems preferred
  • Experience regarding regulatory reporting such as IFRS17 or Solvency II preferred
  • Confident communicator
  • Ability to contribute to the team culture and success
  • Attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or finance preferred
