Tasks

Our team is growing and currently comprised of two backend, one fullstack, and one frontend engineer. We are looking for someone to "pull the ties together" and can ideally work on both (frontend and backend) topics. Even if you have only one strong side, backend or frontend, and feel that you can at least oversee the other side conceptually and ensure backend APIs match frontend interfaces, you should consider applying. In this role, you will be the centerpiece of a growing team and have a wide span of responsibilities. You will have a material influence on architecture and technology decisions.

Requirements
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment that cherishes pragmatism, yet delivers to enterprise software standards
  • You thrive when you receive clear goals and enjoy a good challenge that allows you to learn about and concur new territory technologically
  • 6+ years in software development, primarily Python and/or JavaScript and at least +1 year of Vue.js or a strong desire to learn Vue.js
  • TDD and BDD are among the primary goals - as we serve enterprise clients that expect the highest standards of availability and reliability
  • An intermediate to advanced knowledge of Gitlab, Postgres (SQLAlchemy), and the AWS platform is a strong plus
  • Experience with Redshift, Timescale, Airflow, Snowflake or getdbt.com is a plus
  • Positivity and a can-do attitude are the corner-stones of culture
  • Fluent in advanced business English and a good, proactive communicator; German is good to have, but optional
