About Your Future Team

You will be member of the Financial Risk Management & Risk Controlling Team (FRM&RC). FRM&RC is a small team that is entrusted to manage and control the overall risk positions of the bank and group level. This entails amongst others managing counterparty risks and market risk including the interest risk position. Further, the team is responsible for risk for risk controlling activities related ICAAP, ILAAP and others.

Your Role

  • Responsible for ICAAP Processes and Risk Controlling Processes (identify, assess, mitigate, monitor, communicate risks).
  • Maintain and develop methods related Financial Risk Management including Counterparty Risk, Interest Risk, Liquidity Risk and others.
  • Calculation of risk exposures, Limit Monitoring, calculation of risk bearing capacity for the bank and on Group level.
  • Improve our Risk Management Systems, data systems and used models.
  • Prepare risk reporting and present results.
  • Realize Stress Test for different risk categories including overall stress test calculations.
  • Realize validation of used methods and models or review validation reports on different risk categories.
  • Participate in new product development or implementation of new regulatory requirements related risk management and risk controlling requirements.

  • University degree with focus on business administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, mathematics related field, or Bank Academy.
  • 7+ years of experience in financial risk management, finance, controlling or treasury related fields.
  • Knowledge about finance, accounting, risk management, math or statistics.
  • Knowledge of statistical software like R, matlab, python (in case) is helpful.
  • Knowledge about actual European and German banking regulation related risk management.
  • Language: English, German.
  • Analytical.
