Tasks:

Participate in the preparation of the company’s consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and the Solvency II reporting requirements.
Collaborate closely with our overseas businesses and provide IFRS, consolidation, and Solvency II guidance to local accounting departments.
Support project streams for Group-wide new standard implementation
Help with the Group’s IFRS 9/17 implementation (reporting of figures in parallel runs as well as standardisation and automation of processes)
Interact with internal departments such as Investor Relations, Controlling, and Risk, as well as external auditors

Qualifications:

A strong university education in accounting, economics, or a similar discipline is required.
English (written and spoken) and German are both fluent.
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Solvency II, and IFRS 9/17 is a plus.
Excellent analytical abilities
Outstanding writing and verbal communication abilities
Result-orientated and the ability to operate under time constraints and meet deadlines
Team player who is open-minded, aggressive, and organised, and who is capable of prioritising workload
Experience in a group accounting function or a big four firm is preferred.
