Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

Create, drive and implement a strategic framework for selected BU based on the brand strategy framework. Lead BU project management and milestone preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
  • Create, drive and implement a strategic framework for BU in close alignment with given brand directions and shape the BU strategy (incl. consumer strategy)
  • Contribute to brand Strategy development
  • Co-develop strategy with GM in close alignment with given brand directions
  • Act as facilitator between BUs and functions within Brand, ensuring BU insights and requirements are considered in functional strategies (and vice versa)
  • Lead and steer BU in building strategic business plans
  • Conceptualize and monitor/influence strategic BU projects
  • Provide guidance to BU where needed in implementation
  • Monitor and influence strategic projects after conceptualization
  • Check content alignment of BU collaborations with strategy
  • Feedback and facilitate sharing of best practices or improvement ideas
  • Brief research needs in close alignment with Brand Strategy to Intelligence Hub
  • Lead and manage BU specific project portfolio
Head Office
  • Deliver high quality team and process management for BU Senior Leadership Team
  • Lead the constant improvement and management of a high-end team performance culture
  • Lead the constant improvement and management of business processes
  • Lead and coordinate horizontal BU topics and projects
  • Support and coordinate horizontal brand topics and projects
  • Support GM with the management of the BU (Teams)
  • Prepare GM for all brand milestones and other internal and external meetings as required
  • Lead the preparation and organization of GM’s presentations and meetings
Future
  • Create, drive and manage SBP for BU specific innovation objectives
  • Build and lead the BU team, driving SBP related innovation objectives through Future team project initiatives
  • Review innovation landscape and project portfolio connecting to Future and identifying opportunities to incorporate concepts and insights into the BU strategy
  • Bring style and design aesthetic into the Future domain to enhance the consumer connections. Identify categorical concepts that can fuel growth and development
  • Contribute to the Future View Innovation content and presentation
  • Operate as a contributing member of the Future function senior leadership team

Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications
  • University degree in business/marketing (Master or MBA preferred)
  • Proven experience in cross-functional and collaborative working (matrix organization)
  • Functional: 12+ years of relevant work experience in marketing/brand (experience in finance is a plus)
  • Proven track record across various functions, divisions or sub-labels 3+ years respectively
  • At least 7 years leadership of diverse and global teams in a matrix organization
