YOUR ROLE

A Senior Business Intelligence Manager is responsible for developing and optimizing analysis tools, evaluating reports, conducting data-based research as well as managing a team of BI Analysts and be the contact person for the client and the management.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Develop new analysis tools and optimize already present tools to further increase effectiveness and efficiency

• Integrate new platforms into our existing architecture

• Evaluate daily, weekly and annual reports for our Management and our client which will be the basis for our business decisions.

• Conduct data-based research to support the operations in medium- and long-term projects

• Extract essential information from a large dataset to put insights into a larger (tactical/strategical) context

• Maintain our EMEA and local dashboards and train the organization on how to use them

• Manage a team of six BI-Analysts, and act as the first point of contact for our client and members of the management team

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in Business Intelligence incl. first Leadership experiences

• Completed studies in STEM areas (e. g. engineering, informatics or statistics)

• Excellent verbal communication (and persuasion) skills

• Experience with Big Data solutions & Data Warehousing

• Proven track of working with MS SQL

• Ability to generate comprehensive analysis of the operational numbers with Business Intelligence Tools (e. g. Tableau or Power BI)

• Background with Machine Learning / Optimization algorithms is a plus
