Plant Engineering is a part of Service NCE (Northern & Central Europe) and supports the organisation in installing and servicing a great number of Scada (Supervisory Control and data Acquisition) systems, controlling medium and large sized wind power plants.

Responsibilities

As Scada Multibrand Network engineer (f/m/d), you will be responsible for supporting the Scada engineers and technicians in network related matters, both in the planning, construction, and operational phase of projects. Furthermore, you will:

• Consult internally to support network projects
• Take care of system setups according to standard offerings or customised demands and perform system upgrades as well as verification work
• Provide remote commissioning and support
• Perform troubleshooting on advanced level
• Interact with our development team, customers and other external stakeholders on network and cybersecurity matters
• Generate and maintain technical documentation

Qualifications

• University degree in network engineering or equivalent
• Certified experience in Cisco equipment, CCNA (Cisco certifies network Associate) level is a minimum
• Experience with cyber security
• Experience with industrial routers and switches from various vendors
• Proficient in debugging techniques
• Knowledge in Proxmox virtualisation
• Significant English skills, both in speech and writing

• Solid methodical and problem-solving skills

The position is located in Hamburg, DE. It covers 38 hours/week.
