Frau Erika Krüger

Our research focus lies on numerical modelling of coastal processes and interactions between different environmental compartments on regional and coastal scales. At Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon we develop numerical models with the aim to determine the past and current state of the environment and to identify the major drivers for future changes in the system.

We are seeking a highly motivated and eager-to-learn individual to join our team in the field of marine science and climate change. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to ongoing projects focused on the implementation and interdisciplinary applications of wave and ocean models. As part of our team, you will be involved in the development of innovative research activities, including the use of machine learning and data fusion techniques, to enhance predictability of the earth system.

The position is initially for 3 years. In principle, the full-time position (39 h/week) is also shareable.
