Research Associate* Early-Stage Formulation Process Development

Your Main Responsibilities Are

At BioNTech you will support the process development of lipid nanoparticles formulation for internal and external projects.
  • Manufacturing and quality control of RNA nanoparticles for preclinical studies such as stability and compatibility studies based on existing protocols in the R&D environment
  • Implementation and evaluation of physicochemical analyses to characterize nanoparticulate systems
  • Documentation of the manufacturing process, issuance of the analytical datasheets and drafting of protocols
  • Coordinating the work of student assistants as well as general work in the field of laboratory infrastructure
What You Have To Offer.
  • Successfully completed training as a CTA*, PTA*, Chemical Laboratory Assistant* or comparable qualifications paired with relevant professional experience in a chemical / pharmaceutical laboratory
  • Interest in physicochemical techniques such as light scattering and fluorescence as well as passion about understanding the problems associated with physicochemical characterization and assist in solving them
  • A high level of organizational skills, reliability and communication skills (in German and English, both spoken and written)
  • An independent, exact and structured way of working as well as the willingness to take responsibility, teamwork and enthusiasm
