YOUR ROLE
- Self-responsible project work (conception, implementation, presentation) in the area of physical chemical research, especially colloid- and interface science
- Concept, plan and lead projects in co-operations with universities, research institutes and raw material suppliers
- Develop and characterize new raw material concepts for laundry and home care products
- Use computer-based data processing and prepare convincing presentations
- Be responsible for leading a laboratory including coaching and training of coworker(s), colleagues and thesis students
- Be part of an interdisciplinary team in close contact to product development, analytics, toxicology, process development and marketing
- Conduct special tasks like e.g. SHEQ, sustainability etc.
YOUR SKILLS
- Chemist/Physicist/Material Scientist (d/f/m) with expertise and experience in physical chemistry, especially colloid- and interface chemistry, surfactant chemistry, Ph.D. in physical chemistry is desirable
- Experience in the application and development of modern physico-chemical methods
- Knowledge in the application of semiempirical predictive models such as HSP and HLD
- Experience with MS Office and scientific software including molecular modelling and simulation
- Openness and experience in digital tools and big data topics (e.g. programming languages such as Python and DOE)
- Interest in scientific challenges which are connected with consumer products high motivation and energy level
- Team player with a systematic and goal oriented work attitude
- Very good German and English language skills, further languages are a plus
- Experience of working in different countries
