KREATIZE has an opening for a Quality Engineer, with a passion for building quality systems from scratch and a keen eye for detail. As a Quality Engineer, you will be the person in charge of handling quality checks on our external suppliers, who manufacture a plethora of exciting custom parts. You will make sure that our customers’ parts are being made with absolute care and that this core component of our overall business is running smoothly.
This role requires a high-level of responsibility, but also offers the opportunity for substantial career growth. As a result, the successful candidate should be aware that in the future, depending on company growth, this role could very well be a stepping stone into a management role.

Take charge of the on-going development of the KREATIZE Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Take the lead on strategic Quality Management Systems (QMS) agreements with our suppliers
Review control plan of Key Customers (i.e. Series production / high volume batch orders of Key Customers)
Manage Quality related clearance for shipment
Lead supplier quality audits (on-site or remote)
Advise our key supplier on their inspection strategy, gauges selection and inspection setup
Be ready to have a supplier management role for a set of key suppliers from day 1
In return you will bring the following in addition to your customer-oriented, reliable and committed focus:
You have a minimum of 4-7 years Experience in Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality Engineering, & Quality Assurance. We will also highly value candidates with experience in leading small teamsBachelors in Industrial, mechanical or manufacturing engineering
You have worked at companies with in-house production or been hands-on with supplier management and quality (cnc mechanical parts, castings, injection molding, prototype and high volume) related projects
You have experience with Tier 1 or 2 Manufacturing quality control, preferably at a high volume industrial company (such as Automotive, Transportation, Aerospace)
You have an understanding of OMM, CMM, contour machine, interferometer, 3D scanning and other high precision equipment (actual programming experience a plus)
You are disciplined in GD&T practices with close attention to datum establishment and tolerance analysis.
You bring deep understanding of Quality Management Systems in manufacturing and production processes of mechanical parts:
GR&R,
Statistical process control,
Sampling plan protocol for high-volume production
Experience in use and evaluation of measurement systems
English spoken and written required, spoken German highly appreciated
You will be travelling domestically and internationally 20% of the time.
