Quality Assurance Engineer AIT (m/f/d)

Your prospective job:

• For our renowned customer located in Bremen you are acting as Quality Assurance Engineer for Mechanical AIT (m/f/d).

Your responsibilities:

• Quality engineering for the development and AIT within the Orion-ESM project and of MGSE, FGSE, Logistics and Design
• Surveillance of the design activities and close-out deviations
• Planning of the manufacturing, integration and test activities (e.g. MIP/KIP, IRR, TRR, etc)
• Surveillance and maintenance of the PA&S requirements baseline for the subcontracted items
• Supervision of the subcontractors PA&S activities
• Establishment and maintenance of AIT QA documents in accordance to program needs
• Daily tracking, surveillance and close-out of NCRs and anomalies
• Leading and drumbeating of the NRB process in close collaboration with subcontractors, internal partners and the final customer
• Monitoring of the manufacturing, integration and test activities with audits, MIPs and KIPs
• Preparation of the ORION-ESM ESA acceptance data package
• Control of the AIT quality activities
• Development, maintenance, and action taking to improve quality metrics (dashboard, KPIs, performance dialogues)
• Review and approval of project documentation
• Contribution and approval of normal work plans in support of the production control office
• Preparation and maintenance of the quality documentation and process for ordering parts and materials
• QA surveillance of supplied parts, materials and equipment

Your profile:

• University degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Technical or Industrial Engineering comparable
• Experience in space or aerospace projects and quality assurance management
• Experience in production / engineering / test and quality tools and methods (APQP, PPS, 8D, 5W etc.) appreciated
• Experience in working with SAP and EXCEL / VBA appreciated
• Willingness to Travel and Shift work
• Fluent English and German, both spoken and wirtten
