The Service Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing Hach Strategic Services solutions. The Project Manager will manage multiple projects, coordinating with customers and cross-functional departments to deliver projects to customer expectations in a timely and efficient manner. The Primary objective of this position is to support implementation of Hach Real-Time-Control-as-a-Service (RTCaaS) in Germany, Italy, and Spain.

This role reports directly to the Global Service Projects Manager.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Manage Service Projects, specifically RTC-as-a-Service from pre-order to completion of RTC commissioning
  • Create and implement project management standard work and manage action plans
  • Complete projects timely and efficient
  • Document and communicate project status, milestones, and project progress to partners throughout project
  • Serve as the point of contact for key partners during project implementation
  • Address incoming questions and provide timely, accurate answers
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to deliver project requirements
  • Track and report Key Performance Indicators for RTCaaS implementation
  • Measure project performance to identify and champion continuous improvement opportunities
  • Report improvement opportunities to key stakeholders and collaborate to implement changes
  • Prioritize and communicate effectively
  • Supervise accuracy of RTCaaS quotes and orders, including the hardware, software, and services
  • Work with RTC Remote Monitoring Team to ensure all technical requirements are met prior to RTC commissioning
  • Complete all handover requirements for Remote Monitoring Team after RTC commissioning
  • Advocate for the customer
  • Work independently to achieve objectives with minimal guidance
DESIRED BACKGROUND / SKILLS:
  • Demonstrated skill in technical project management, communication, and presentation
  • Experience in creating and implementing comprehensive standard work processes
  • 3 – 4 years professional experience in services and support
  • Knowledge and understanding of Hach EU organizational structure, especially the Service organization
  • Functional knowledge of EU Services product offerings
  • Real Time Control (RTC) familiarity and experience
  • Hach instrumentation knowledge
  • Knowledge and experience with water- and wastewater treatment processes
  • Experience in remote service application, monitoring, and data analysis
  • Technical background desired – trouble shooting and problem-solving mentality
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Professional proficiency in English required; German, Italian, and Spanish proficiency a plus
  • Strong customer orientation

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Ability to analyze complicated issues and narrow down to the key points, develop action plans and bring them to a successful conclusion.
