The Opportunity

Roche Diagnostics Knowledge (RDK) is a Knowledge management platform containing service and support information for the worldwide service organisation.

In relation to the Roche Diagnostic Knowledge a separate database for error codes is used to host the error codes from the different Roche Diagnostics instruments.

In this role, the error code database is managed, updated and improved in respect to content and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and perform error code import to Roche Diagnostic Knowledge (data retrieving, data cleansing, coordination with IT and SME for the respective RD product).

  • Standardize and improve the overall process (alignment with stakeholders, effort of maintenance and review, import format, assess automatization potential, standard procedure, error code specific features) in RDK.

  • Assessment of automation potential and creation and implementation of automatisms where applicable (e.g. write and implement scripts)

  • Support and help to shape an API to other systems together with the development team.

Competencies required

  • Stakeholder management

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders with varying degrees of technical knowledge.

  • Development Skills are a plus

  • Proficiency in Automation tools or language

Experience

  • 5 years of experience in data modelling, schema definitions and general interaction with databases

  • Development experience using SQL or other programming language

  • Participation in/Leading of small projects

  • Understanding of ETL sites

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, MIS or other technical degree.
