IIoT Meeting AGENT (w/d/m)

3-6 Month Intern / Bachelor/ Master Thesis / Studentjob

By joining EMERSON as aIIoT Meeting Agent (w/d/m)you will be working at the core of the EMERSON Digital Transformation Initiative to help our customers to actively shape the future of their industries.

Within this role you join a global corporate and will become part of a globally distributed IIoT Development Team to actively support on our culture and methodologies for developing smart software solutions for the industrial market.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY: We are a globally distributed and hybridly working software development team. Applying agile development methodologies and tools we are also part of a global corporate. As a tech driven engineering development team we are separating the ‘WHAT we deliver’ from the ‘HOW we deliver’. Becoming our IIoT Meeting Agent you will become crucial on the ‘HOW’ to improve our meeting efficiency, shape our collaboration culture and give feedback from an external standpoint. It’s on you!

THE WORK: Increase meeting efficiency in agile (SCRUM-like) meeting environments (standup meeting, code review, sprint planning, sprint review, sprint retrospective, internal), support meeting culture, time keeper, instant feedback.

THE CHALLENGE: Having an impact at a globally distributed, diverse and techy SW development team installed while the pandemic, now coming back to the offices and continuing to work hybridly and virtually.

THE ROADMAP: Become a full member of our team in a newly defined and continuously shaped role. Take the opportunity to connect your experience at our environment to one of your projects (thesis, study).

YOUR SKILLS: Form follows function. You are open minded, curios and keen on learning and sharing. No need for tech or IT experience. Ratherly a background in arts, humanities, psychology, pedagogy, sociology or any discipline that you believe might become relevant, will be appreciated. English is a must.

THE TECH STACK: Open source software, IIoT Protocols, Clouds & IT Platforms, Office365, GITlab

THE TEAM: The team (currently 8 HC) is located in India, Germany and US with IIoT Software Engineers and IIoT Architects. Daily work is much connected to our stakeholders from Business Development, Global Marketing, and other Engineering groups across the globe.
