Our client is a global player for commercial cleaning systems. The company has a worldwide presents, and you will be working with experienced local and expat management, in which you can gain new experiences and skills. They are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer (R&D), with the right passion and mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design and develop of mechanical components and parts
  • Analyze technical issues and solve complex problems, technical calculations, and product testing simulations.
  • Creation and modification of 2D and 3D drawings, technical documentation (BOM, cost/price analysis).
  • Ensure that designed components meet customer requirements, safety standards, are within budget and given timelines.
  • Work in cross-functional teams (workshop, test lab) and dealing directly with external subcontractors and overseas engineering teams.
  • International travel required from time to time, depending on project scope.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and computer-aided design.
  • Experience in 3D modelling (Creo parametric preferred).
  • Good communication in English, both written and spoken.
