This new Payroll Manager role will work with an established Payroll function as they manage the activities of the team. The Manager role will be responsible for accurate, on-time, compliant payroll and implementing efficiencies within the Payroll Team.Location is Gravenbruch (Frankfurt area) or Troisdorf (Cologne area).
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a team of employees responsible for German payroll.
- Manage relationship with external payroll service provider.
- Driving solutions and leading the continuous improvement in accuracy, efficiency and service level.
- Responsible for payroll tax activities; including compliance with tax regulations
- Managing the month end payroll accounting process.
- Training and development of team.
- Lead the simplification and standardization of ways of working and processes based on industry leading practice.
- Lead payroll projects as required.
- 5+ years experience in a similar role in a Multinational payroll environment.
- People management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of German Payroll, Payroll Taxes.
- Strong communication and organizational skills required.
