Role Purpose

  • Responsibility and coordination of SHI accruals and penalty accruals for Sandoz Group Germany (end-to-end process: calculation, forecast, month end closing, invoice verification, re-porting)
  • Prepare and provide financial management information for decision support and business control. Ensure to meet the user needs and ensure a continuous adaption to new requirements.
  • Be the economic conscience (“Finance partner”) for the Key Account Management by actively managing and challenging their financial performance
  • Functional link between Controlling and IT-Department regarding data handling
  • Preparation, analysis and reporting of financial key figures/indicators

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Is the key support for the Senior Management CFO, CEO; BPA M&S and Tender & Contract Management in financial analysis of SHI accruals and penalty accruals
  • Manages processes (end-to-end) and process improvements, assures accounting and reporting correctness
  • Provides financial projections (forecasts and month-end-closing) for SHI accruals and penalty accruals
  • Delivers, defines and develops monthly management reports, KPI’s and transparency
  • Is the key financial advisor to the local Management (KAM); through responsibility for all processes regarding financial resource allocation and controlling for SHI rebates and penalty payments
  • Realizes reporting (as well as ad hoc data analysis) and system requirements of BPA with appropriate information technologies; development, application and maintenance of SQL server applications and attached tools
  • Optimizes and merges different data sources to ensure high data quality
  • Ensures master data quality and documentation (processes, master data, etc.)

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Economics or Business Administration
  • Knowledge in Business Informatics (particularly data management, data bases, Excel Expert etc.)
  • German, English written & spoken required
  • 3-5 year’s experience in Finance or Controlling position
  • Good knowledge in popular software applications (MS office)
  • Managerial and very good communication skills
  • Good analytical skills and numbers affinity
  • Professional and personal competencies to lead projects individually
