JOB SUMMARY
The Logistics Management Analyst (LMA) is responsible for supply wholesale and retail reporting and
data management for the U.S. Army Prepositioned Stocks 2 (APS-2). Responsible for Inventory
Control and management of Government equipment. Provides asset visibility by unit and type;
integrates/manages data and reports; and coordinates with the 405th AFSBn-Germany Accountable
Officer to ensure property/equipment is in the proper state of readiness and available for re-issue to
units.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty
satisfactorily
1) Perform research using Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), receipt processing, inventory
adjustments, equipment receipts from the Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) and create
Material Release Orders (MROs).
2) Performs customer service for all GCSS-A related activities in accordance with the GCSS-A End User
Manual (EUM). (MOC)
3) Generates GCSS-A reports as required. (MOC)
4) Manages the collection of data for Amentum daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reporting. (MOC)
5) Compiles different reports from different sources to build PowerPoint slides for management. (MOC)
6) Assists management with tracking long lead time parts and finding alternate sources of supply. (MOC)
7) Required to gain access to GCSS-A, IGC, FedMall, LIW and OnPoint for parts and document research.

8) Refines and, where necessary, develops new metrics and reporting systems to track effectiveness of
all Amentum program support initiatives for the Maintenance department. (MOC)
9) Analyze/track property, determine proper accountability and provide visibility of property by unit and
type.
10) Ability to analyze data and perform causative research.
11) Validate and process all inventory adjustment documentation.
12) Perform data entry and verification of monthly cyclic and sensitive inventories.
13) Manage reports for APS-2 supply in adjustments to configurations in GCSS-A. (SOC)
14) Ship equipment from an active retrograde plan into a transit plan upon receipt of the authorized
signed/stamped (DD Form 1348) (SOC)

15) Act as the primary communication link, integrates/manages sensitive data and reports.
16) Process all receiving, shipping and equipment issue documentation. (SOC)
17) Provide supply/readiness data integrity and validate data entry in GCSS-A. (SOC & MOC)
18) Coordinate with Headquarters to ensure property/equipment is in the proper state of accountability
as determined by the Government for re-issue to the gaining unit or other entity as required.
19) Maintain all information at no less than 90% accuracy unless otherwise stipulated.
20) Generate all required supply related reports, charts, graphs, data calls.
21) Work in conjunction with other supply personnel to accomplish all required taskings or inventories.
22) Provide timely, accurate and relevant information to the Operations leadership and/or Government
personnel as required.
23) Maintain a daily timesheet and daily manning report and ensuring times are accurate.
24) Ensure strict compliance to safety practices and support the Amentum Safety Policies and
Procedures.
25) Instills a safety-first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident
rates and minimal lost-time injuries.
26) Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
1) 8 - 10 years of recent specialized experience
2) GCSS-Army Certification (required)
3) At least two years of GCSS-A experience along with the ability to provide skilled analysis of data
prepared and presented.
4) APS knowledge and experience
5) Possess strong knowledge of MRO’s, Hand Receipts, IARs and other Army Supply documentation.
6) Must have strong organizational and planning skills.
7) Must have basic knowledge in the use of MS Office, including Word and Excel, Outlook, and other
related applications.
8) Must be able to function with an advanced level of English oral and written language skills.
9) Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.
10) Must be able to meet and maintain all LIS access requirements (Common Access Card).
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
1) Valid driver’s license
2) Expertise in Microsoft Office, with prior intensive database and data management skills
3) Analytical skills commensurate to the effort
4) Excellent interpersonal skills to interact well with the customer and with employees at all levels
5) The appropriate verbal and written communications skills to conduct meetings, execute plans,
prepare reports, plans, and working instructions

May be required to deploy on missions on short notice at the direction of the PMO.
