The Lead Systems Engineer has design responsibility to understand customer or integrator’s needs and to deliver product quality, reliability, serviceability, manufacturability, regulatory compliance, and cost that will meet customer expectations.

As a Lead Systems Engineer for X-Ray / CT / Metrology, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the system engineering process from requirements development and design planning to verification, validation and design transfer, field and customer support
  • Defining performance, interface, non-functional requirements for our Firmware/Hardware developments with a multitude of other hardware and software products
  • Leading the planning and execution for product technical design reviews, technical discussions
  • Leading the investigation, execution and retirement of technical risks as they arise on the program to achieve best optimization in system performance and image quality
  • Driving system architectural trade-off discussions within new product developments by having a full understanding of system architecture and interfaces
  • Analyzing complex issues and decomposing these into a manageable set of tasks, then pursue tasks to completion

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have completed Master studies in Engineering or Science: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or closely related fields
  • Have proven work experience in industrial engineering, ideally in the field of NDT, X-Ray, metrology
  • Have experience in the use of mechanical, electrical or software development tools and processes
  • Demonstrate major experience in working in projects with global teams
  • Demonstrate excellent collaboration combined with interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be fluent in English (additional German skills desirable)
  • Have a strong sense of accountability and ownership
