We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to strengthen our European Technical Centre in Heidelberg, Germany. In this position, you will work closely with our Systems and Applications Engineers to characterize and validate the performance of our innovative sensor products. You will also have the opportunity to take ownership of improving our laboratory capabilities by designing and implementing better mechanical, electrical and software aspects of our automated sensor characterization setups.
You would be joining a dynamic, young and diverse team that is enthusiastic about developing better sensors and supporting customers to find and design the best solution for their application.
Responsibilities
- Conduct sensor evaluations to validate that product requirements are met.
- Maintain and improve the software and hardware aspects of our lab setups.
- Support customers and application engineers during failure analysis testing.
The successful candidate will possess a BSc or MSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree or equivalent education. Knowledge and/or experience in the following areas are also required:
- Solid knowledge of electronic circuits.
- Characterization of mixed-signal circuits in laboratory.
- Experience in programming (e.g., Matlab/Simulink, Python).
- Fluent in English and preferably German.
