(Junior) Business Analyst (m/f/d) Commercial Performance

We’re looking for a motivated and driven Business Analyst (m/f/d) who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

• You will be part of FlixTrain’s Business Development team, helping to steer our commercial results
• You analyse the main drivers of our topline performance (incl. brand awareness, traffic, conversion rate, yield, load, etc.) and proactively identify and implement improvement measures
• You support in defining targets and breaking them down to train lines and relations
• You enable efficient KPI monitoring by setting up forecasts, automating report generation and driving data integration for the train product
• You work closely with internal stakeholders – including Marketing, Pricing, Network Planning and Business Optimization – to exchange relevant information and jointly solve problems
• You prepare presentations as a basis for decision-making by management and lead alignment meetings to improve our commercial performance

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

• Very good degree in Business Informatics, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or similar quantitative course of study
• You think in an entrepreneurial and analytical way and have a good understanding of numbers
• You possess “hands-on” mentality and want to have an impact in an innovative and dynamic company
• You are a good communicator, have experience in project management and enjoy working in a cross-functional setting
• Profound knowledge in common Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) is a must have
• Prior experience in setting up PowerBI dashboards is much appreciated
• Any experience in working with SQL or willingness to learn is a good to have
• You are fluent in English, good communication skills in German, any other European language is a plus
