Omni Sales Team is a new unit within our Regions, with full Omni customer experience ownership – on both a regional and country sales market level. This unit will set and drive an omni commercial and customer plan based on an insight driven approach to grow and engage the customer base. Additionally, the Omni Sales Team will manage omni regional assortment and stock strategy according to customer demand.

Job Description

As Inventory Optimization Manager (E-Com), you contribute to maximizing selling, profit, and customer experience by having the right garments in the right location at the right time, where customer demand is. You keep total overview, forecast and prioritization of garment flow, and structurally steer flow to our different online warehouses based on current demand / supply patterns. You work closely, both strategically and operationally, with OMNI and Store Inventory Opt. Managers, Merchandise Managers, Demand supply planning managers and Logistics team to enable a fast, flexible and effective in-region supply chain today and in the future.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Drive allocation strategy & operation
  • Set, fup and update allo% for each warehouse
  • Upload allocation rules in the system at specified deadlines
  • Follow up on allocation accuracy
  • Communicate with necessary stakeholders (Merchandise Managers, Buyers, Logistics, etc.) regarding allocation exceptions in their markets
Location supply optimization
  • Set and follow up inventory targets for e-com warehouses
  • Set buffer levels for 'never out of stock'
  • Align with Sales Planner on sourcing assumptions (order orchestration) to understand forecasted demand per warehouse
  • Understand and act on Order Orchestration in collaboration with Sales Planner to secure availability
  • Responsible for return steering to optimize capacity and garment flows
  • Identify Merchandise manager actions needed to support logistics operations (pick positions and more)
  • Understand customer behavior impact on demand and supply actions accordingly
Demand & garment flow forecasting
  • Identify supply constraints and drivers impacting sales
  • Forecast inbound/outbound garment flow to support logistics planning
  • Set and fup ways of working for short/mid-term demand and garment flow forecasting incl. returns for e-com warehouse
  • Responsible for e-com Supply Chain budget incl. inbound, moves, and SKUs
  • Align commercial actions affecting garment flow with OMNI Inventory Optimization managers
  • Collaborate with Demand & supply planning managers to forecast long term garment flow on location level
Drive omni strategy development , drive & roll out supply chain initiatives
  • You are, together with Store and OMNI counterparts, accountable for omni strategies and targets and driving total omni strategy development
  • Constantly explore and implement how to improve the field of buying and stock management in region - bring successful examples to the global supply chain support team
  • Be a part of developing the global supply chain agenda and initiatives as a business expert
  • Roll out way of working of new initiatives in region, in collaboration with global support team
Qualifications

Education
  • University degree, preferably within Business, Economics/Finance (or similar) or technical/quantitative field
Experience
  • +2 years experience as Sales Planner, Business Controller merchandising or Business Controller
  • Meriting: - Experience from other analytical roles
  • Experience from role as merchandise manager, VM, Demand & supply planning manager or Inventory optimization manager
Skills
  • Deep understanding of allocation, inventory optimization and logistics operations
  • Broad understanding of “E-com sales and operations” as well as e-com buying and stock management.
  • High analytical skills
  • High level of salesmanship
  • Advanced Excel user
  • Programming skills meriting
  • Structured way of working
  • Collaborative personality and good communication skills
