Human Resources Manager (m/f/d)

You are:

  • An open minded diplomat: Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds as well as strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, candidates, and groups of managers
  • A juggler: You have proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
  • A team player: You are a creative, flexible, and innovative team player
  • Thorough understanding of human resources principles and practices, including but not limited to wage and hour, employment law, safety, and immigration
  • Game industry experience a plus

You have:

  • 3+ years of experience in progressively responsible HR roles, preferably in a corporate environment in the games or media industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German as well as English. French is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skill
  • Proficient experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

You will:

  • Report directly to the Managing Director
  • Be responsible for the whole employee lifecycle: attraction, recruiting, onboarding, developing, retention and separation
  • Lead and push the recruiting process to hire new talents
  • Work close together with external recruiting companies
  • Coordinate work permits and visas for any foreign employees/candidates
  • Manage company HRIS system, ensuring information is entered in a timely and accurate manner
  • Prepare company payroll, ensuring entries are complete and accurate; works closely with our tax accountant
  • Maintain a variety of HR records including but not limited to insurance, performance reviews, government reporting, and employee transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, terminations
  • Organize and be part of the annual review of every employee
  • Partner with studio leadership to establish and support a strong, positive studio culture and environment
  • Facilitate effective and positive resolution of employee issues, displaying a genuine interest and respect for people and their concerns
  • Partner with Directors to communicate employee concerns/requests, anticipate issues, and recommend resolution
