We are looking for a new member for one of our portfolio companies

Tasks

  • Being responsible for the company’s B2B sales activities and becoming part of the management team
  • Setting up the sales organization and defining the B2B sales approach as well as managing daily operations leading to outstanding sales figures of a world-class product and service
  • Building a powerful sales force as well as preparing and taking over client and subsequently revenue growth
  • Recruiting, building and managing a high class sales, marketing, customer success, and back-office team
  • Cultivating a high-performance environment and thriving on excellence by continuously improving the entire teams’ capabilities through active empowerment, coaching, mentoring, and recruiting of top talent
  • Working on upcoming fundraising rounds with the co-founders
  • Creating a dynamic, engaging, and authentic customer experience that reflects our venture as a company and successfully bonds with customers
Requirements

  • Excellent academic background in economics, computer science, industrial engineering, civil engineering, architecture or related field
  • Strong commercial experience in a B2B procurement, best case the construction material environment as well as a strong network
  • Several years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, agile B2B environment, consulting firm, or at a venture-capital-funded start-up with exposure to a wide range of customers from corporates to municipalities and hospitals
  • Proven experience in setting up market launches for new products, identifying untapped revenue streams, testing different sales models, and building up commercial teams from scratch
  • Strong interest in latest trends in construction and innovation-based DNA
  • Being a curious leader that combines natural gravitas with strong analytical and great communication skills
  • Proficiency in English and German
