We are looking for you! We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Head of Network Operations (f/m/d). This position will be based in our Frankfurt office.

Within this exciting role, you will lead the global team of Infrastructure Architects and Network Operations Manager. Coordinate the day-today operations to ensure a stable and robust network infrastructure. Driving technology evolution in line with the regulatory and company standards. Assuring efficiency, security and continuous performance of the global corporate IT network.

Within the IT Service & Operations department, the primary mission of the IT Infrastructure Services function is to enable our business operations on a robust digital platform, maintain its stability and security, develop solutions based on business demand and technology evolution.

The Network Operations team is in charge for the maintenance of stable performance of the infrastructure backbone across 3 geographical regions and among 25+ locations. You will be responsible for a multicultural growing team with a global footprint (Hong Kong, India, Singapore, Germany, France, UK, USA, China).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and prioritise for maintenance, design, development and analysis of our entire network infrastructure with focus on quality of services
• Supervise network operations team and lead, direct and use knowledge on standard methodologies in area related to infrastructure
• Assure service management for third-party service providers
• Drive and support the network infrastructure strategy and foster modifications as appropriate to adjust for changing circumstances
• Conduct capacity planning for the network
• Ensure audit and compliance reviews by implementing processes and procedures
• Participate in strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation and prioritizing of IT initiatives
• Find opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial resources in IT systems and resources
• Close collaboration with peers and other multi-functional departments
• Supervise and document policies/procedures to meet required Service Level Agreements
• Ensure a sustainable Problem-management
• Datacenter infrastructure management (housing, Co-location etc.)
• Management of external contractors and consultants
• Budget planning and controlling including regular forecast
  
  

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience:

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study
• Several years experience in directing a team required, ideally within the financial services sector in both IT infrastructure global operations and large-scale projects
• Recent experience in IT infrastructure/ network modernization, SD-WAN and/or Cloud transformation and integration projects
• Implementation and operations experience with SD-WAN, Cisco, Palo Alto, Zscaler, F5, Akamai and other validated market leading technologies
• ITIL and firm with core processes change-, request-, incident- and problem-management
• Project management on mid to large scale projects
• Highly motivated, flexible and eager to learn
• Proficient in English required, additional language skills, such as German or French, are a plus
