Your team

The German Sales Team is part of the DACH Distribution team which is one of the six-sub regions in EMEA Distribution. The family office coverage complements the corporate clients and pension investors team. This sales team works very closely with the respective product specialists. These are real estate, ETF and solutions. But quantitative fixed income and equity strategies are also part of these specialists. All interaction with customers will be coordinated through you (the responsible account manager). The German team is based in Frankfurt and Munich.


Your role

We’re searching for our next Head of Family Office Clients Germany. You’ll be involved in ensuring effective execution of the EMEA distribution strategy in Germany by working closely with the Team Head Asset Allocation Clients Germany. In this role you will develop an assigned area of asset allocation clients, with a specific focus on family office solutions in Germany. You will be responsible for growing the AuM with existing and new clients while ensuring local coordination of product development, sales, marketing, client services and local functions for an accurate and quick fulfilling of the German business’ strategy. You should position Invesco as the most client centric asset management firm with fund solutions across multiple asset classes and strategies and build a local identity and brand awareness.

Among your responsibilities you will identify and develop business opportunities and investment trends in the German family office market. You will have to prospect and develop new client relationships and to maintain and develop relationships to existing clients and networks. This means also travel regularly to meet clients, find opportunities and represent Invesco. You will be also responsible for the allocation of core product strategies to the appropriate client segments.

You will work closely with the local marketing, to coordinate client events, seminars, webinars and further strengthen our presence in the market. In addition, you will cooperate closely with other sales colleagues both at a local and European level to provide market intelligence and feedback and to identify new business.

Sound interesting?

You’ll need to have shown experience in sales in the asset management industry, with a strong sales track record and clients’ reference, senior contacts at clients. You have excellent knowledge of German fund industry: Multi- and Single Family Offices, Independent Asset Managers & Fund of Funds.

You also have an excellent understanding of investment products, derivates, traditional and non-traditional asset classes, performance attribution analysis, etc. You have a strong interest in current economic environment and new investment themes and has worked with portfolio managers, economists, and investment strategist.

You have represented a large range of investment funds and is able to priorities client needs. You have experience in all matters pertaining to client relationship management and prospective and have an established and credible asset gatherer within the German retail segment. You are adaptive and responsive to changes to the need of our clients and the industry environment. You are excellent in providing bottom-up feedback to the management in terms of business priorities, opportunities, and risks.

You are responsible, focused, well-organized as well as self-motivated and willing to work in a team. You are also result-focused and a strategic but hands-on problem solver with strong commercial focus and good judgement. Your presentational, interpersonal and communication skills are excellent, and you are able to influence others.

You hold an university degree or a comparable education, a CFA would be a plus. You are proficient in German and English.
