These are your tasks
  • The Head of Accounting is mainly responsible for the definition and accuracy of financial statements, compliance management, tax law issues and external audits
  • You lead key transformation project in the accounting department (ie: New ERP upgrade project, new digital solution implementations etc..)
  • You manage regular statutory consolidation and production of financial statements
  • You improve efficiencies and reducing costs across the business as well as systems and procedures to initiate corrective actions
  • You ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
  • You work closely with management to share reports and analysis findings
  • You define controls and strategies to optimize cash
  • You manage a team of accountants and play a lead functional role across the accounting departments of the other DACH markets (Swiss, Austria).
  • You work closely with HQ teams (Tax, Legal) on group projects and local implications (M&A, joint venture, TP policies, etc..)
These are your skills
  • You hold a degree in business administration with focus on accounting and/or controlling
  • You have at least 10 years of professional experience in the field of finance/taxes/accounting and strong experience in leading a team
  • You have founded knowledge of the German (HGB) accounting standards as well as financial statement security
  • You´re mastering international accounting standards (IFRS) and you are self-reliant in operations
  • You have very good IT skills and project management
  • You are a team player with the ability to network and work at eye level (regardless of position)
  • You have very good written and spoken English skills
