Our milk alternative based on pea protein has been a large success being sold in over 10.000 supermarkets already. This fall we’ve launched the 1st generation of our yogurt alternatives. As a Food Technologist - Yogurt (f/m/x), you will accelerate the transition from an animal protein to a plant protein. You will work on commercial as well as proprietary strains and processes to make plant proteins taste better. For instance reducing beany, grassy, and bitter off-notes in pulse proteins will be one of the goals for enabling the next generation of plant-based yogurts & quarks.Your Challenges:
  • Create the best fermented plant-based dairy the world has yet seen.
  • Conduct continuous experiments on benchtop & pilot scale.
  • Iterate the process & ingredients such as bacteria strains, carbon, and protein sources to (a) elevate the existing products and (b) create new fermented products.
  • Be part of the vly product team and take an active role in guiding the future of our fast-growing FoodTech startup.
