Finance Director CORE China (m/w/d)

You’ll join more than 6,000 CARIDIANS already working on the latest vehicle features and functions like automated driving, state-of-the-art charging technology, as well as a new digital ecosystem. YOUR TEAM

The Finance department in Core JV, being in charge of all financial operations of the company (finance, controlling, accounting, tax, export control, finance IT, etc.), making sure that the company’s finances are in order and that all financial goals are met and being also responsible for making decisions based on the financial data. In addition, the team also holds responsibility of government affairs to ensure Core JV getting sufficient support from the government.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Propose strategies in order to move the Company performance towards its financial targets achievement and sustainability.
  • Activities related to profitability improvement of the current products, projects and processes
  • Harmonization of management decisions in company and group committees (e.g. Business Case calculations, evaluation of product alternatives etc.)
  • Take the lead in the negotiation with government officials of all levels and deal with government affairs
  • Being responsible for planning rounds, budget and monthly forecast follow up methodology for the specified financial statements
  • Disciplinary leadership of the team

WHO YOU ARE

  • Degree in Master of Business Administration or comparable qualification
  • Proficiency in accounting and controlling processes and tools
  • Strong organizing ability, proficient in project management
  • Ability to master complex stakeholder situations
  • Strategy / conceptual capabilities
  • Extensive leadership capabilities
  • Strong stress resilience and ability to perform in a highly volatile environment
  • Ability to form a performant team, i.e. recruit and retain talented individuals
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Strong intercultural skills and competencies
  • Fluent in English, Chinese and/or German helpful
