We are looking for a Finance/Controlling Intern (f/m/x) to join our controlling team this August (3-6 months).

In the controlling team, we make sure the companies’ performance is fully understood. To achieve this, we analyze performance in-depth for all our entities and functional teams. Based upon our findings, we support the business in improving its result by outlining areas of potential. Furthermore, we provide respective forecasts to understand how the company will perform in future periods. We are a team of very analytical people, who have fun analyzing performance while being strong in communicating these findings to local stakeholders and management.

Your responsibilities

  • Support the team in reviewing operational performance on both a Country & Functional level
  • Building models for in-depth functional analyses as well as operational P&L and cashflow forecasts
  • Contribute to a more effective, efficient, and accurate financial process (actual, forecasting, budget), resulting in a timely and insightful analysis of results
  • Support accurate Business Plan and Budget processes as well as scenario calculations
  • KPI monitoring, profit, and deviations analysis while also supporting management with ad-hoc scenario analyses
  • Lead profitability analysis and OPEX controlling
Your profile

  • Currently enrolled or recent graduate student in business administration or Economics with a focus on controlling/finance/reporting
  • You are self-motivated, eager to learn and have great analytical skills
  • Adaptable to constant change and hence you are flexible and skilled at multitasking
  • You are highly organized and have an eye for details
  • Ideally first work experience through internships in finance/controlling/reporting
  • You have good Microsoft Excel skills and are motivated to develop these
  • You speak fluent English, love to work independently as well as in the team
