As an experienced Operations Planning Consultant (f/m/d) at CAMELOT, you will be a contributory element in successfully implementing our integrated consulting approach - strategy, process, and technology.

You will be a member of our Competence Team, comprising progress drivers, difference-makers, and innovation implementers, and empower our clients to achieve a more efficient supply chain design. The successful candidate will guide the transformation within the company - from the initial idea, through to its concept, and ultimately its implementation. Making technological advancement serviceable. Making the competitive edge tangible.

Your Tasks

As a knowledge multiplier, you will acquire extensive know-how with each project - and share this with others. Your main tasks will involve understanding specific client issues concerning operations planning and developing as well as implementing solution-focused concepts. Specifically, this will entail the following:
  • Closely coordinating with clients on project plans, budgets, and outcomes.
  • Constantly developing as an individual by successfully implementing your solution-focused concepts in the areas of operations planning and control.
  • Guiding clients through the entire project cycle - before, during and after implementation.
  • Empowering clients to reap maximum benefit from your solutions.
  • Acquiring expertise and skills through training courses, mentoring as well as specific technology training.
  • FLEX-Office concept with assignment to one of the locations: Mannheim, Cologne, Munich.
Your Expertise
  • At least five years’ experience in supply chain management at a leading consulting company.
  • Alternatively: comparable consulting experience; as a business analyst, for example.
  • Expertise in complex planning solutions concerning production program planning, material staging planning, including batch planning, as well as solution-focused concepts for sequence planning and capacity management.
  • Outstanding understanding of industry-specific planning processes and experience with change management.
  • Extensive, proven track record on design, configuration, testing, and implementation using S/4HANA ePP/DS, SAP APO PP/DS as well as SAP ERP or comparable software solutions; SAP PP and/or PP/PI as well as SAP APO SNP would be beneficial.
  • Ideally: a degree with a very good academic grade in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or any other degree course relating to supply chain and logistics.
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills; business fluent German; other languages would be welcomed.
