Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions’ (SMR) newest division, Ground Support (DSI Underground), is a leading manufacturer and supplier of ground support products and services to underground mining and tunnelling customers worldwide. To strengthen our Head Office in Schwabing, Munich, we are looking for an Executive Assistant (m/f/d) to our Division President.
Your future tasks & responsibilities:
  • Support the Division President in daily business and ad-hoc topics
  • Prepare management presentations, consolidate data and create reports
  • Provide administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos and official information releases on the Division President’s behalf
  • Manage the Division President’s calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing
  • Organization of meetings, conference calls, and events
  • Prepare agenda and meeting minutes for senior management meetings, proactively manage timelines and ensure proper follow ups
  • Participate in dedicated projects
  • Take care of Division President’s travel management and expenses
  • Support and provide coverage for the Office Manager
Your background & what’s important for us:
  • University degree or respective apprenticeship with several years of professional experience
  • Experience as Executive Assistant in a dynamic global organization
  • Very good interpersonal skills, able to collaborate efficiently with different stakeholders internationally
  • Proactive working style, solution oriented, problem-solving and decision making attitude
  • Strong in working independently, prioritizing tasks and very good time management
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Very strong digital proficiency, with excellent skills in MS 365, especially MS Teams and PowerPoint
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills in English, strong skills in German; further languages are a plus
