The Dexcom Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems are aimed at people with type 1 or type 2 diabetes who need to monitor their blood sugar levels. Our Dexcom CGM system consists of a sensor, inserted under the skin to measure the level of glucose in the interstitial fluid (fluid in the tissue), eliminating the need for fingersticks. Our Dexcom CGM Systems have customisable alerts to warn users of dangerous glucose levels, even while they are asleep

The Role Is

Role Summary:
  • Leading and coordinating project groups in planning, organisation and on-site support of trade fairs, congresses, patient events and workshops throughout DACH.
  • Overseeing the development of ad creative in support of events.
  • Ensuring compliant and effective messaging and placement maximising budgeted spend.
  • Taking part in creating and deciding on content for all event categories.
  • Reporting directly to the Marketing Director DACH, working independently with autonomy in making decisions
Your Main Responsibilities Will Be

E ssential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Creating and maintaining the DACH marketing event plan, including contact with external service providers and contract management.
  • Collaborating with legal and compliance department, product areas, marketing staff, management, and outside agencies to strategise and implement events in support of Dexcom’s business plan and stated goals in a cost-effective manner. Ensuring all activities support broader marketing initiatives.
  • Assisting with the creation of Dexcom patient communications and promotions at events.
  • Maintaining the Dexcom brand in all relevant event activities
  • Research activities: hotels, locations, speakers etc.
  • Close cooperation with external service providers
  • Supporting activities in the organization and implementation of internal employee events as well as meetings
  • Cooperation with the individual product areas, the employees of the marketing department and the management
  • Launch and oversee an events budget.
  • (Digital) Participant Management: Setting up events on the Dexcom Community homepage, creating and tracking employer permits, tracking registrations and cancellations, providing materials for the event on-site, such as lists of participants, laptops, certificates
  • Support in the communication between marketing, sales representatives and the clinics / practice
  • Maintenance of the online event calendar for DAC
Travel Required
  • 25 to 50%
