We are looking for a "Environmental Control System and Qualification Engineer (f/m/d)"for our customer at the aviation industry for the next possible date.

Your Tasks

• Solving thermo- and fluid dynamical as well as mechanical engineering tasks and problems includ-ing modelling / simulation:
• Performing system analyses regarding performance, dynamic behaviour, operation, control, etc., using numerical simulation tools, handbook methods etc.

• Integration of systems, sub-systems and equipment into the aircraft, i.e. specification, qualification and certification of systems, sub-systems and equipment with respect to requirements, safety and reliability
• In-service support for systems and equipment: - Defect or problem investigations (root cause analysis, development of problem solutions and modifications)
• Modification processes
• Preparation of certification and clearance documentation
• Support to system health management activities

• Definition of Environmental Qualification requirements for various aircraft equipment:
• Validation of Qualification Programme Plan / Qualification Test Procedures w.r.t. Environmental Conditions
• Witnessing of environmental tests
• Review and assessment of qualification status regarding environmental qualification requirements
• Preparation of clearance and certification relevant documents

• Technical management of system or component manufacturers and/or suppliers during develop-ment and in-service support
• Continuous monitoring of available technologies and identification of technology gaps
• Managing interfaces to related technical departments and functions (e.g. programme management, procurement, technical publications, technology management
• Supporting system engineers at team level, if required
• Cooperation and coordination with internal, external, national and international subcontractors, sup-pliers, customers and partner companies
  

Your Profile

• Master university degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace or similar qualification
• Industrial experiance in aerospace industry
• Profound knowledge in the field of thermodynamic and fluid dynamic problems
• Experience in the area of (military) aerospace specific development, qualification and certification processes is a plus
• Knowledge of ECS architectures, fluid mechanics, operational behaviour and control, thermodynamic cycles and good knowledge of air vehicle general systems
• Experience in numerical system modelling and simulation tools (e.g. Star CCM+, SimcenterAmesim, Flowmaster, CATIA)
• Doors skills
• German and English, business fluent
