Position Summary:
This position is within Harman Automotive Division. In this position you will be part of a global team, who will design and develop features and functions for ADAS products. These features will support global NCAP guidelines, EU GSR DDAW, ADDW as well as support Driver Conditioning and Availability for autonomous driving levels in conjunction with other vehicle sensors and systems. The functional reporting is to the owner of customer-oriented Demo Kit. A device that provides firsthand experience of Harman’s IP to eventual customers.
What You Will Do:
  • Integrate, test and maintain the demo kit
  • Automate release upgrade process
  • Initial smoke tests and investigation for root cause of issues
  • Support on training members of the business unit to handle the equipment
  • Remote support during customer presentations
  • Actively suggesting improvements
    • User experience
    • Integration automation
    • Testing
    • Hardware
What You Need:
  • Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, information technology, computer science, mathematics or a comparable course of study
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience with C++ and Python
    • Programming is your passion meaning that you will come up with novel ideas based on high quality standards.
    • You are familiar with clean code guidelines
  • Experience with shell scripting is a plus
  • Comfortable working in Linux environments
  • Experience with DevOps
  • To be aligned with platform development it is necessary to understand the workflow of:
    • Validation and verification pipeline
    • Jenkins
    • Version management systems (GIT, SVN, etc.
  • Familiar with Agile development methodologies and test-driven development
  • Experience with OpenCV, middleware like ROS, is a plus
