We’re looking for a motivated and driven DevOps Engineer - API (m/f/d) who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

Curious to know what we are working on?

We are the API Guardians at FlixMobility Tech and take care of the API Management Platform, which supports our API developers through the whole lifecycle of their APIs.

Automating API publishing to our API Gateway and the Developer Portal, or the maintenance of our API Guidelines are just some examples of what we do in our day to day work.

We are experienced in the development and operation of APIs, and are continuously in touch with internal teams that either provide or consume APIs.

We have a constant process of reflecting on our current work, and adapting new practices and technologies. Our daily work is built on trust and collaboration. When things get complicated, we trust each other’s loyalty, commitment and decisiveness.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

  • Work in a self-organized team which takes care of the overall quality and availability of our APIs
  • Guide teams providing and consuming APIs
  • Analyze, propose and drive technology improvements
  • Use Continuous Delivery to release frequently

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

  • Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant industry experience
  • Experience deploying infrastructure via Terraform or similar technologies
  • Knowledge of CI/CD
  • Writing clean, solid, and tested code is your passion
  • Experience in development of RESTful APIs
  • Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Proficient on a mainstream terminal (e.g. zsh)
  • Experience deploying applications on the cloud from scratch
  • Good technical communication skills on business level
  • Very good command of English
