Your Team: 1 Head of IT Operations, Security & Data + 1 Junior DevOps.
My client was founded in 2016 as a corporate start-up and combines the knowledge in logistics and the infrastructure of a corporate group with the flexibility and digital competence of a start-up. The task: Connect shippers and transport companies on one platform and thus optimise all steps of the transport process for both sides. By using state-of-the-art technologies, the traditional and lengthy offline processes are replaced and thus the efficiency of all transport steps is optimised for the user.
Your tasks
- Develop, monitor and maintain the AWS-EKS based Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Be the backbone of the development team by supporting and guiding your colleagues with your knowledge of automation, monitoring and deep troubleshooting.
- Scale and keep the current 6 mid-sized servers running - in the environment of CI/CD Git Pipelines, AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Cleverly handle mission critical systems of scale and be an advocate of security and stability.
- Enjoy a lot of ownership.
Your skills
- Have experience in Kubernetes and Docker as a DevOps expert (m/f/d) with a developer background.
- Have knowledge of automation and IaC (Terraform).
- Be proficient in a scripting or programming language (Bash, Python, Ruby, Go, etc.).
- Demonstrate solid experience in CI/CD tools and deployment strategies (Git, GitHub, Travis, Argocd).
- Be a team player and proactive communicator and speak very good English (team language).
