What You’ll Do

As a Developer (f/m/d) for Strategic Frontrunner Apps & Showcases, you will be part of a technology-focused team that was built to help shape future generations of SAP software. In this role, you will have the great opportunity to support various projects coming directly from our executives and senior management and creatively develop new frontrunner applications and showcases that emphasize the value of SAP’s Business Technology Platform. Furthermore, with your strong software development skills, you can quickly design proof-of-concept solutions to actively develop, challenge, and improve state-of-the-art software.

What You Bring

• Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field
• Very good programming skills (e.g. in TypeScript, Python, Go, Swift, Kotlin …) and strong competencies in computer science including data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and software design
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art web and mobile technologies, frameworks, and tools (e.g. React, Vue, Svelte, Xcode, Android Studio, …)
• Knowledge in cloud programming and infrastructures as well as in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Practical experience with relational databases as well as with microservice architectures and distributed systems
• Knowledge of agile software development processes and experience with development processes driven by regular code reviews
• Fluent English language skills - both written and verbal

We are looking for an outstanding individual with up to 3 years of work experience. Graduates are welcome to apply. Ideally, you have already gained some experience of working in a similar role e.g., as an intern.
