Compliance Specialist (m/f/d)
Description
We want you to:
- Develop and implement an effective compliance programme
- Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them
- Draft and revise company policies
- Proactively audit processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses
- Evaluate business activities (e.g. investments) to assess compliance risk
- Collaborate with external auditors and HR when needed
- Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation
- Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices
- Address employee concerns or questions on legal compliance
- Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals
- Monitor the application and developments of applicable laws and regulations, and recommend changes to the company’s policies and procedures
- BSc/BA in Law, Finance, Business Administration or a related field. Professional certification (e.g. Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)) is a plus
- 3-5 years’ experience in the field of compliance in-house or in a law firm/consultancy. Experience in supply chain compliance, anti-bribery and corruption and/or risk management is highly valued.
- English, German and/or other European language(s) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills, being able to understand complex information, identify issues and find adequate solutions in a timely, efficient manner
- Excellent communication skills, ability to present complex information in an easy and understandable manner
- Reliable, collaborative and able to build relationships with other people throughout the organization
