DescriptionWe are looking for a Compensation Specialist in the Tires Business Area. As Compensation Specialist, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of our compensation philosophy, policies, and practices around the world, supporting our best efforts to attract and retain the best talent available.
Your Tasks In Detail
- Consulting and partnering with business HR teams worldwide as a subject matter expert to advise on compensation programs and processes
- Independently handling of complex compensation questions from internal clients and deliver solutions, often in ambiguous circumstances. Coaching of internal partners on compensation-related decisions
- Driving implementation and communication of global processes. Facilitating the acceptance of reward principles and impact of changes with global HR leaders and management. Identification of ways to improve compensation processes and enhance policy execution
- Supporting in global projects as needed and contributing to the evolution of compensation in the Tires Business Area along the business strategy
- Performing job analysis, job evaluations and job classifications for the executive level in the Tires Business Area
- Navigation of compensation programs on Executive level, such as long-term incentive and short-term incentive programs
- Providing analytical support and tracking. Preparing ad-hoc and regular management reports for compensation topics helping to provide transparency and to guide future decision making
- Academic degree in business, finance or human resources or a comparable qualification
- Long term experience in a related field
- Professional experience in HR tech or working knowledge of HR technology solutions desirable
- Working knowledge of compensation design and job evaluation methods is preferred
- Confident handling of MS Office programs
- Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
- Strong communication skills that enable you to take sophisticated concepts and distill them into digestible information for leaders and employees
- Strong problem solving and collaboration skills to partner with various functional teams across the organization and build relationships
