Client Tax Analyst (m/f/d) - Frankfurt

The Tax practice within Asset Wealth Management supports the practice by coordinating the preparation and filing of tax returns that have been outsourced to external preparers. Employees provide tax technical expertise in the interpretation and application of federal, state, and foreign laws and regulations that impact the tax filings of Wealth Management clients. The tax team also provides tax technical advice to internal business partners.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Ensure global conformity with the IRS Regulations as it relates to client tax information reporting and withholding
• Ensure compliance with IRS Forms W-9/W-8 tax certification requirements in order to limit and prevent penalties for non-compliance
• Assist the team with year-end tax withholding and reporting processes, understand controls, and participate in reviews to provide consistent and accurate tax reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Hold responsibility for the tax data integrity of transactions processed within our accounting system and the production of the 1099s, 1042s, and tax packages for our Wealth Management clients

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Advanced degree or certification in tax or related discipline preferred
• Knowledge of IRS requirements preferred
• Interest in the nuances of tax regulations and their impact on internal processes and client interactions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with and influence people at various levels
• Detail oriented and committed to consistent work quality
• Proactive and inquisitive
• Strong analytical and problem solving ability
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
