Your role:Reporting to the head of Sustainability, Science & Technology relations, you will support the strategic partnering efforts with the common goal of positioning our company as a global leader in science & technology. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, execution, and management of a company-wide scientific relations/engagement strategy with the focus on sustainability, science & technology. Your role is to back up the company’s sustainability efforts with a strong external network of diverse partners. The role is responsible for the arrangement of local and global strategic partnerships between our company and universities, research institutes and startups. Based on existing activities with academia, scientific associations, and other technology partners you will identify gaps and opportunities to place us as strategic partner in relevant networks. The position will require engagement with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the development, execution, and communication of the scientific relations strategy for the company. You will manage complex and cross connected projects with external partners, with the focus on technology transfer, co-operation, and new business models in the context of strategic partnerships. You will research and explore new technologies that address our short and long-term sustainable business needs. The position will also be responsible for the implementation of key strategic initiatives to achieve our sustainability goals.

Who you are:
  • Postgraduate University studies in natural sciences, Engineering/Industrial Engineering or similar. MBA is strongly desired
  • Significant Experience in Sustainability or Environmental services, including the preparation of a global sustainability or science relations engagement strategy
  • ~2 years of experience within corporate relations or environment managing function in the chemical-/life science- or pharma industry or comparable
  • Demonstrated track record of working successfully with cross functional teams and consultants in the area of sustainability
  • Experienced in strategy design to execution.
  • Excellent organization skills through attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and written
  • Ability to work with other teams to ensure the sites and the business as a whole meets the sustainability objectives
  • Ability to co-manage corporate wide programs and initiatives
