Role Summary:

For our location in Essen, which specializes in the development, production and global distribution of the "Kämmer Ventile" brand, we are looking for the earliest possible date one Assembler Service and Repair –m-f-t.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Identification of the valves to be repaired and determination of damage and missing parts

  • Dismantling and cleaning of the valves and spare parts

  • Creation of the parts lists required for the cost estimate and definition of the work processes for the internal repair in consultation with the supervisor

  • Assembly of various add-on parts, piping, control parts and handwheel assembly

  • Checking the individual components and test run of the systems

  • Carrying out quality assurance based on inspection plans as well as the completion notification of the assembly in SAP

  • 24-hour on-call service divided into the team, approx. every 4-5 weeks according to plan

  • Customer assembly service and repair work

Preferred Experience / Skills:

  • Training as an industrial mechanic or mechatronics technician as well as several years of professional experience

  • Knowledge and experience of parts of the product range

  • Class B driving license

  • Teamwork and resilience

  • English knowledge is an advantage
