Excellence Manager Continuous Improvement has the responsibility to develop, implement, steer and control Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Your Role

He/she is responsible for projects to improve, develop and implement existing and new services globally for GSK Consumer Healthcare and thus he/she contributes strongly to the strategic success of Integrated Logistics. Apart from the identification of Continuous Improvement initiatives the objective will be the design of efficient logistics solutions with a service-oriented & quantitative value proposition. In order to achieve this, the Excellence Manager Continuous Improvement has a very good understanding of end-2-end supply chain processes and logistics in general, has proven process mapping capabilities (incl. VSMs), understands change management, and has a background in project management and/or experience with similar) projects and process improvement methodologies.
Your Responsibilities
  • Facilitate customer workshops to create a trustful relationship, to understand supply chain needs and to assess potential value of optimization;
  • Apply IL standards and Continuous Improvement methods and tools;
  • Define project objectives after defects and area of improvement are identified with customers and internal stakeholders;
  • Survey material flow and supply chain disconnects to define needs for logistics services not yet in scope;
  • Assess and evaluate different supply chain solutions with regards to costs, time and quality;
  • Quantify respective value of proposed solution and compile a business case to demonstrate value proposition. Initiate, perform and report optimization and savings projects;
  • Ensure consistent project transition to implementation and business management.

Your Skills And Experiences
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in supply chain management or logistics industry;
  • Good commercial know-how demonstrated by analytical, numeric and analysis skills & awareness with a background in Business Case Creation and Validation;
  • Proven ability to manage projects, stakeholders and deliver agreed solutions, ability to work under pressure, and adhere to short deliverable timelines and customer driven requirements;
  • Proven analytical and conceptual working capabilities;
  • Change Management experience;
  • Good understanding of Lean techniques and/or solution driven mind-set;
  • Clear and concise communication skills. Language skills: English plus further European language;
  • Excellent knowledge in Microsoft office and/or transport management systems.
