Tasks

  • Work closely with the Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to understand the strategic vision for the company, developing the events strategy for 2022 accordingly.
  • Budget, manage and execute flagship (in-person and virtual) events, market summits, sponsorships, trade shows and meet-ups efforts
  • Collaborating with strategic Partners in-person and online industry-specific events and ensuring that they all feel consistent with our company brand.
  • Negotiate terms with stakeholders and manage relationships with outside vendors – from talent to site builders and third-party event organisers.
  • Work with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to align all event activities to overall business goals, lead nurturing, and customer needs.
  • Develop close relationships with our customers, advocates, partners and lead team to best facilitate insightful community events.
Requirements

  • Portfolio of successful events.
  • Experience in planning conferences and in managing multiple events at the same time.
  • Strong understanding of event planning strategies.
  • Familiarity with multiple event technology platforms, streaming providers, and event management and ticketing services.
  • Creative mind and an attention to detail.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and German.
  • Be able to travel and support events outside of traditional office hours.
  • Berlin-based or willing to relocate to Berlin.
